We believe that the original scriptures of the Old and the New Testament are given without errors by inspiration of God and are authoritative to guide the life and theology of the Body of Christ (2 Tim. 3:16-17).
We believe in one true and living God that exists eternally as three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deut. 6:4; 2 Cor. 13:14; Mat. 28:19-20; Is. 45:22).
We believe Jesus Christ is the only begotten of the Father and is truly God and truly man. Jesus Christ, conceived of the Virgin Mary by the Holy Spirit, was crucified, buried and rose from the dead. He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor (Lk. 1:26-33; Heb. 7:25; 1 Tim. 3:16).
We believe in the Holy Spirit, in His personality and deity, that He was sent forth from the Father. We believe that He indwells, sanctifies, instructs, empowers, and comforts the saints (Jn. 14:15; Jn. 14:26; Rom. 15:16; Acts 1:8; 1 Cor. 3:16).
We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. This is often shown with speaking in other tongues, as the Spirit gives the utterance, to be the initial evidence of this experience. We believe in the operation of the gifts of the Spirit and encourage the Church to live so that these gifts may be manifest in their lives (Acts 2:4; Acts 10:44-46; Acts 19:6; I Cor. 12:4-11).
We believe that to have faith in Jesus is to obey Him and is not only to know that He exists. To call Jesus ‘Lord’ is to obey what he commanded, for we know that faith without works is dead (Jam. 2:26, John 14:21).
We believe that to enter in the promised Kingdom of God and receive eternal life we need to be born again: we must repent toward God the Father from all our sins, get baptized in water in the name of Jesus Christ, receive the Holy Spirit and continue living a life in faith until the end (Acts 2:38, Matt. 7:21). We believe that repentance, an act of faith, is a changing of mind and a turning away of sins that originates from the goodness of God (Rom. 2:4). Repentance is the first step into new life.
We believe that salvation is wholistic in its effects and the person in Christ receives salvation, deliverance, healing, and restoration.
We believe in water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ. It is not merely a sign of moral change and spiritual rebirth; it becomes the very act of a person’s death and resurrection with Jesus. Christian baptism is man’s participation in the event of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. It is a “new birth by water and the Holy Spirit” into the Kingdom of God (Jn. 3.5). It is part of being born again because it is to be buried with Christ having your sins washed away by His blood. Baptism into Christ is only valid after repentance and believing in Jesus (Rom. 6:3-10; Acts 2:38; Acts 22:16).
We believe the Church is the united body of Christ on the earth which exists for fellowship, edification, and for communicating the gospel to all nations by means of Christian life and witness (Mt. 28:19-20; Acts 1:6-8; 2:41-42; 1 Cor. 12:13).
We believe the eucharist is the genuine body and blood of Christ because bread and wine are the mysteries and symbols of God’s true and genuine presence and manifestation to us in Christ. By eating and drinking the bread and the wine which are mystically consecrated by the Holy Spirit, we have communion with God through Christ who is himself “the bread of life” (Jn. 6:34, 41).
We believe in the literal Second Coming of our Lord, the literal rule of Christ upon the earth, the resurrection of the regenerate to eternal life and the unregenerate to eternal damnation, and the ultimate victory of the eternal Kingdom of God (Acts 1:9-11; Dan. 12:2; Rev. 22:1-7).
